DIWARI―ひかりの祭

インドのおまつりDIWARI―ひかりの祭へ行きました。

went to DIWARI-festival of Light last weekend.

素敵なおっちゃんたちだね。

They are lovely and nice.

 

彼らが売ってるものはおいしくて、わりと安かったです。

They sell nice and reasonable food.

浅草にある"Ambika"というお店が出張販売してたみたい。

Their shop"Ambika"is in Asakusa, Tokyo. (also have Online shop)

彼らの店に行けば、インド食材はなんでもそろうようです。

You can find any Indian ingredients here, they say.

近所にあったらいいのになぁ～。

I hope the shop were near my house though...

インドのビールはあやしいものが多い。

Most Indian beers are dodgy.

いとこの晴太が買った"Power 5000"ってのはほんまやばかった。

The beers named "Power 5000" my cousin Hareta bought was quite an experience.

リポD入りビールみたいな。

It was like hybrid of redbull and beer. 

日本では未開発の商品だよね。さすがインド！

It's not common in Japan yet, Incredible India!

Two crazy pics.

まっきーは最近であったともだちだけど、

気を遣いあわなくてよい　昔からいたようなともだち。

I met this girl "Makky"this summer, 

but I feel like I've known her since I was eleven, we're good friends.

いつもありがと。

彼女も歌い手です。

and She is a singer, too!

 「もう帰ろっか」ってところで出会った小さな楽隊。

We met the band as we were leaving.

観客は少なかったけど、素晴らしい演奏だった。

Although the performance was outstanding, it attracted sparse audience.

彼らの国の、独特の音と独特のリズム、歌い方、ダンス。

Their own style of sound, rhythm, singing, and dance✧

とっても良い１日だったし、もっとインドのことが知りたくなりました。

I had a lovely day and it made me want to learn more about India.

いつかインドに辿り着く日まで、いろんなことに触れたいな～！

wanna experience more India, til I visit there!

I recommend you to go the festival next year.

毎年10月に、各地であるお祭りだと思います。

They hold this on Oct. every year ;)

(all around big city in Japan, I think)
